Today, I saw a local landmark: Durham’s own, “11 Foot 8,” bridge. Ya know, the one that all the trunks run into.

I’ll actually be at Duke doing a hip hop literature course (I’m very excited), so I’ll be near this bridge quite often. Expect many pictures.

There’s a big sign with flashing lights up the street. Bike by here a lot, I work about a mile from there.

I think these signs have been there for a while. There’s even a sign up the road for tall trucks to turn off, and even a truck detour.
